Our Story
In the year 2016 Trend Republic (TR), the Batik clothing company was founded, celebrating the rich heritage of batik through modern interpretations. Initially focusing on ladies' clothing, we have since become a leading name in the industry, offering unique and stylish batik clothing for individuals who appreciate both cultural authenticity and contemporary fashion.
In 2021 we expanded beyond local borders by venturing into international trade, with the first export destination being Dubai. This milestone marked Trend Republic's entry into the global market, showcasing Sri Lankan batik craftsmanship to a wider audience and establishing a presence in the Middle East.
In 2022 TR furthered international growth by exporting to the United States, tapping into the world's largest consumer market. This milestone solidified Trend Republic's position as a global brand, gaining recognition and acclaim in the competitive fashion industry of the United States.
In 2023 TR continued international expansion by entering the Australian market, known for its discerning consumers and vibrant fashion scene.
