Production Process

All our designs start with a design intent. Then the technical team collaborates with the designers to convert the design intent into a pattern and then to a silhouette. The team repeats the sampling process till the perfect fit is achieved. All silhouettes are stitched in pure White fabric and then hand dyed using the ancient Batik technique to make intricate prints on the fabric using a unique colour combination to offer a piece of art in a form of a dress to our loyal customers.

Design Intent Discussion & Pattern Making

Our talented team of designers come up with unique and fashiable designs for each collection we release. Once the designs are finalized, the design intents are briefed to the technical team in order to convert the intents into patterns. All our patterns are made based on the standard UK measurements spec.

Sample Making & Fit Process

The patterns created are then tested by making the initial fit sample. During the fitting of the sample patterns will be amended many times and likewise the sample making process will also repeat till the desired fit is achieved.

Stitching the Garment

Based on the finalised patterns the bulk production will take place. All our dresses are stitched in pure White fabric which is specially made for absorbing dye.

Using Wax to Create Designs

Wax is used as a dye resistant in order to create pretty designs on the White stitched garment. This is a tedious process as the artisans have to work with boiling hot wax and the wax applying has to be flawless to achieve the desired design. Each dress has to go through this process individually and this is why each dress is unique.

Different Methods Of Applying Wax

Wax is applied on the dress using different tools such as different sizes of brushes, funnel tool etc. Each tool helps to create different kinds of wax strokes and lines.

Hand Dyeing Process

Each dress is hand dyed using vibrant colours to bring you our unique and to breathtaking colour combinations. Each dress is hand dyed individually, its more like making the dress as a canvas by our talented artisans to bring out these pieces of art.
